What we offer:
We offer a no-nonsense and common sense approach to emergency preparedness along with educational information for all attendees of your event.
What this means is that we will not present you with a stack of printed materials and tell you to read it, but rather give you hands on basic emergency preparedness information, tips and tricks that can be implemented by anyone attending the event.
We will arrive at your location with a large assortment of emergency supplies and products for a detailed demonstration in their use.
Our approach to emergency preparedness education is about using common sense when getting prepared.
What is part of our program?
Every event is different and we have the ability to tailor our sessions to the specific needs of your audience while providing useful emergency preparedness tips and information.
A typical event lasts from 2 to 4 hours and we stay longer if there is interaction with a lively audience.
We will present a variety of emergency products and supplies that should be included with every emergency kit and explain their use.
We will explain the difference between grab-n-go evacuation supplies and shelter-in-place supplies.
We will discuss emergency preparedness planning and general safety procedures.
We will discuss general emergency situations, the availability (or possible lack of) first responder services and requirements and methods of supplies storage.
We will entertain and encourage questions from the audience to make your event as interactive and lively as possible.
What we will not do during the event:
Even though SafetyKitStore is engaged in the business of selling emergency products, we will NOT be promoting our products at your event!
We will furthermore not sell our products at your event, unless we are specifically asked to do so by the event organizers.
The event will be neutral and informative and it will NOT be a sales presentation for our line of products and supplies.
In fact, we encourage your audience to bring and discuss products they have acquired on their own to be able to discuss a broad range of products and supplies availability on the market.
What are the requirements to have our expert come to an event?
For a very low and reasonable fee, we attend events in the Southern California area.
We are very flexible and can work with small to medium sized audiences.
To make the event efficient and interactive and to be able to entertain enough questions, we prefer to keep audiences in the 60 person or less range.
We require that you have a suitable location to hold the event indoors and in an undisturbed environment.
We require an area for our expert where we can set up two 6 foot display tables for products to be used during the event.
We also require seating for the entire audience. We do not like to present to standing audiences.
