Shipping Charges below and above 150lbs:
Our online shopping cart checkout supports shipments through UPS and up to 150lbs. If the total shipping weight exceeds 150lbs it might be more economical to ship with an alternate carrier and the shopping cart will indicate that. You can complete the order without paying for the shipping charges at that point and we will contact you with the actual and adjusted shipping cost which can then be processed and paid for in a separate transaction. We can also provide you with a shipping cost estimate before you complete your order by contacting us at 1-800-455-4522 (9am to 5pm PST) or by sending us an email to info@safetykitstore.com
Shipping your order:
If all required items are in stock, orders that have been received and cleared payment before 1PM Pacific Time will ship the same business day. Orders received on Saturdays and Sundays or on holidays will ship the next business day. All shipments will be delivered to UPS or USPS in the afternoon. Shipping will be at our discretion through UPS ground or US Postal Service. Delivery times vary by service and distance and can range anywhere from 1 to 7 days. For details on guaranteed delivery times, please visit www.ups.com and www.usps.com. Our shipping charges are based on shipments within the continental US only. All shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada or other countries will incur additional shipping charges. We reserve the right not to sell and/or ship to selected countries. While we do our best to keep our warehouse well stocked with inventory, there is the possibility that an item is out of stock. If that is the case, an email will be sent to you to inform you of the estimated lead time for your order. Usually we are able to replenish our merchandise within 3 to 5 days. Merchandise Warranty:
All merchandise sold by us is carefully selected and inspected prior to shipping. However, should you receive an item that shows a defect then please do not return the entire order, but contact us first so we may discuss options. Depending on the type of defect we might ask you to return the item(s) to us for further evaluation. We will only warrant manufacturing and processing defects. Misuse of the items and wear and tear are not covered by our 90 day product warranty.
Merchandise Returns:
We only accept returns for defective items. Please do not return any merchandise without contacting us first. Please remember, that under the law, all Food, Water and personal consumption and use items such as tooth paste, tooth brushes, soap, hand sanitizers, face masks, etc. can not be returned. Only non-FDA items such as tools may be returned in the event of a defect and with our authorization. We may replace the item or issue a refund at our discretion. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Order Cancellations:
Due to our short turn-around time on orders (we ship within one to two days in most cases except for customized orders and we pack shipments on Saturdays), we normally can not accept order cancellations. An order can only be canceled if you inform us of your desire to cancel at least 24 hours before the merchandise is scheduled to be shipped or picked up at our warehouse location. Order cancellations must be made by phone. You can leave a voice message if our lines are busy. If your credit card sales transaction has already been processed at the time of cancellation a 15% processing fee will be charged to cover our expenses for the time spent on processing your initial order, the order cancellation request and for issuing the refund. The following orders can not be canceled: Orders that have already been processed and packed for shipping or will call pick up, orders that have been scheduled for shipping or will call pick up on the same day and orders that have already been shipped or picked up.
Merchandise Pick Up and Will Calls:
We offer merchandise pick up at our warehouse by appointment. To order products for pick up you can either use our online shopping cart and select 'pickup' during the checkout process, or you can call our customer service department and place your order over the phone. If your order is for Emergency Kits that need to be assembled or is otherwise considered a customized order, you might be asked for credit card information prior to us preparing your order. Once your order is ready you will be contacted to allow you to schedule a convenient pickup time with us. If no other arrangements are made, any orders, prepaid or not are considered abandoned if not picked up within 15 business days from the date of order completion. Once an order has been packed, we are not obligated in any way to update the order contents (especially those items with expiration dates), no matter how much time passes until the day of pick up. Failure to pick up an order altogether does not entitle the buyer to a refund of payments made, we do however reserve the option to provide store credit at our discretion, less any processing fees as outlined in these terms and conditions.
