Emergency Food and Water has expiration dates.
Keep your Disaster Survival Kits up to date with current supplies.
If you assembled or purchased your Emergency Survival Kit several years ago then it might be time to replace some of the Disaster Supplies that came with it. Especially emergency food bars, drinking water pouches and first aid kit supplies do expire after 5 years and our 72 hour Refill and Replacement supply kits will provide you with those essential supplies that you should not let expire.
Most food bar rations come with a 5 year shelf life and so do most drinking water rations in foil packages (pouches) and cardboard containers.
Our US Coast Guard approved Datrex food and water rations are made in the USA and provide the perfect replacement for any outdated and expired supplies you might have in your emergency kit at this time.
Datrex food bars have been found to be by far the best tasting food rations on the market today and they are soft and easy to eat, compared to all other 'brick' style food bars that are often times so hard, you would not even know how to bite a piece off of them.
Unlike cardboard juice box style water containers which often leak, our Datrex water pouches are leak and puncture resistant which makes them ideal for emergency kits in all locations, at home, the car, on the boat, etc.
Our Datrex pouches come with 4.227 oz of water each, which makes rationing easier, compared to larger water containers.
So, please check your Emergency Kit to see if your food and water rations and your first aid kit are still up to date, or not. And if they are expired, then please check out our convenient refill and replacement kits by clicking on the images in the listings below.
